SOCIAL PROJECTS

REWRITING LIFE

The Female Education and Decarceration project aims to promote literacy and oral skills among women in the São Paulo prison system, so that they can strengthen their capacity for critical reflection on multiple themes and their ability to communicate in varied contexts.

We base our work on works produced by Latin American thinkers, with different literary styles, aiming to enrich the group's repertoire and enable participants to identify with the stories of overcoming these authors.

The project's strategies include mediated readings, debates, normative grammar, affective writing and public speaking workshops. Participants are also encouraged to create a personal project to practice the skills developed over the period and to exchange letters with the project network.
